What I love about Dunn Elementary, an IB World School:
I love the joy expressed and the creative minds that are so willing to share. There is an amazing energy of collaboration, caring, and inquisition that happens within this building that is unlike anything I have seen before.
What I love most about teaching:
Teaching allows me to create an environment where every student can achieve their greatest learning potential, and every student is Seen, Heard, and Valued for their contributions, experiences, and insights.
Favorite children's book/author:
My favorite book growing up was Anna and the Bagpiper by Thomas Locker.
It is a beautifully illustrated story of imagination and exploring.
I also love the Amelia Bedelia series by Peggy Parish.
What I like to do outside of school:
I have started a Vegetable garden in my backyard and love eating all the fresh food as it grows.
I am also part of the Colorado Army National Guard
I love to read and relax with my family

I was raised in Salida, CO and have lived in Loveland for the past 6 years
